Accuvon Multicrusher
Accuvon Multicrusher is an effective, universal chopping unit for
use in liquids containing solids. It reliably chops coarse material
such as fibers, wood, glass, plastics, membranes, textiles and many
others.
The design is based on the proven Accuvon rotary lobe pump: carrier
shafts, mounting, shaft seals and casing are identical.
Accuvon Multicrushers are used in numerous industrial applications.
They are particularly preferred wherever solids are interfering
with the continued operation and production, and thus need to be
reduced to a harmless size. Processing the medium through the
Multicrusher serves in protecting downstream machinery and pumps.

Function
Flow direction
The symmetrical layout of the Accuvon Multicrusher allows reversal
of the flow direction – in any operating state – by simply turning
the blades and changing the direction of rotation.
Trouble-free functioning
The large, direct inlet opening gives even highly viscous media and
large-sized solids direct access to the work chamber. The medium
flows a short distance through the Multicrusher, where the coarse
material contained within it is caught and reliably chopped. The
dissimilar blade rotation speeds considerably improve the cutting
action and ensure good self-cleaning with soft solids.
Space requirements
With their compact and robust construction, Accuvon Multicrushers
can be installed in very tight spaces. Adaptation to the individual
on-site conditions is accomplished with variable use pipe
connectors and a diverse array of drive layouts.
Carrier gear unit
The cutting blades are precisely guided over the carrier shafts
–covered in hexagonal sleeves and not in contact with the medium
–due to which a limited dry running of the Multicrusher is
possible. The carrier gear unit represents a single sealed
component. The
high quality and extremely sturdy gear wheels ensure even, smooth
operation, as well as a long service life.
One-sided bearing
The shafts of Accuvon Multicrusher are always designed with
largesized, single-side antifriction bearings. The bearing is thus
separate from the work chamber, not in contact with the medium, and
need not be disassembled for any maintenance work.
Cutting blades
The computer-supported manufacture of the various cutting blades
ensures exact geometries with optimal tearing and cutting action
for every combination. This allows adjustments to be made for every
chopping task, and even subsequent changes then
require only a limited assembly effort. The materials are adapted
for the chemical and physical properties of the medium.
